Description
Tirta Naga sits just off Jalan Oberoi, a stones throw from Legian beach and is part of the famous coastal strip that includes Bali’s most illustrious boutique hotels and restaurants. Clearly visible on the approach to the villa, the guest bedroom’s soaring conical thatched roof, pierces the sky. Inside, a funky modern colour scheme and tall windows provide an ideal ambience with plenty of natural light. Large sliding doors open out onto a wooden sun deck, warmed by the soft rays of the early morning sun. An open bale-style kitchen, with terracotta floor tiles, is the perfect station from which to prepare meals and drinks and conveniently faces another larger deck for outdoor dining.
Tirta Naga’s main building houses the master bedroom and open plan living area, where a recessed sofa is cleverly hidden behind carved sliding doors. The master bedroom has an antique wooden bed and old painted Javanese wooden doors, that lead to the en suite bathroom with its free standing terrazzo bath tub as centrepiece.
